Trip Retrospectives

A Trip Retrospective (aka. retro) allows you to show multiple, distinct trips on a single map. You can use a retro to show all or some trips of a single type. For instance, all your IBA rides or off-road rides or family vacations or whatever category of trips you choose.

And I'm sure users will find new and exciting ways to use retros when sharing their travels with family and friends.

Retros can be public or private. Public retros can be found and viewed by anyone on SpotWalla. Specifically, they will appear in the Retrospective Browser. Private retros will not appear in the browser. You can share private (and public) retros with others by sending them a link via email, forum post, etc.

Retros & Security Concerns
There are some security concerns about how trips are treated when they're part of a retro. Please read and comprehend these concerns before creating and sharing a retro publicly or privately.

A New Look?

For those of you who've been around a while, you know I don't have any artistic abilities whatsoever. I need all the help I can get. That's why SpotWalla is more functional and feature-rich than it is shiny and noticeable. So when new, cool-looking components become available I try to use them to improve the look and feel of SpotWalla. Both as a way to cover up and make up for my lack of artistic ability and to improve and keep the site "modern." Whatever that means.

To this end, you will notice some new look and feel updates to SpotWalla in certain areas. These updates will continue over time, but they should not affect your ability to navigate the site and perform the tasks you're currently familiar with.
