Accounts on Hold

It's only eight months late, but we started placing accounts with a balance less than -$15 (that's a negative number) on hold. Why? Because SpotWalla is a paid-for system and we're asking those who use it to pay for that usage.

SpotWalla will send users an email when their balance drops below -$5, again at -$10 and one more time at -$15. Even at -$15 there's still a day or two or three where accounts are still active. Eventually, though, the overnight process will recognize the situation and set the status appropriately.

I don't expect or want anyone to pay for something they don't use or forgot about or don't intend to use any longer. In those cases, we can simply cancel the account. No questions. It's just over and we move forward. But if you are using SpotWalla, please fund your account.

If you find your account on hold, please email us. If you're not using your account, we will cancel it for you. If you are using it, we can activate your account so you can log in and take care of matters.

Keeping Your System Up-to-Date

With the recent and on-going User Interface updates some folks are running into issues with auto-complete working and a few of you out there are having trouble getting the login form to work at all.

In at least one case we believe this is likely due to out-of-date operating system and/or software (e.g. the browser).

As a general rule of thumb, you should keep your operating system and any software you're using up-to-date with the latest available versions. So if you're behind and out-of-date on anything, be kind to your computers and spend some time to get everything current.

This may not fix every problem, but it will keep your system safe, secure and helps us help you diagnose issues.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please email us and we will help.
