What's a SpotWalla Membership?

You don't need a membership to view trips, location pages or explore SpotWalla. You only need a membership if you want to configure a device to track and share your travels with family and friends.

SpotWalla memberships come in various levels. The distinguishing characteristics are the number of active devices each day and whether or not you can manage your own location pages. All memberships come with unlimited storage, map views and activity while your membership is active. And we'll store all your data even if your membership expires to ensure you never lose or have to purge your data from the system.

You can purchase a 60-day membership or a one-year membership. Upgrading and downgrading between levels is allowed.

1 This is not the number of devices in your account. On any given day, it's maximum number of active devices in your account.
2 Ride sponsors, rally masters and businesses use Location Pages to track their participants. This is advanced functionality that the vast majority of users will never require. They can still join a location page, but they'll never need to manage their own.
New accounts get a 30-day Individual membership. This will provide plenty of time to evaluate SpotWalla and determine if it's something you want to continue to use.

Most users will fall into the Individual or Family plan. The pricing of both levels (spread over a year) is cheaper than the daily cost of SpotWalla today. SpotWalla is cheaper than it has ever been.

We don't support subscriptions. Not because we can't, but because we don't want to continually charge someone for something they're not using. If you want/need to use SpotWalla, purchase the appropriate membership and use it. We'll send you an expiration reminder 7 days before your membership expires and an expiration notice when it does expire, but keeping it active is your responsibility. As it should be.


How This Works

You will manage your membership in the Membership Manager. When logged into SpotWalla, you will see the "My Membership" panel:

The Membership Manager will allow you to join, renew, upgrade or downgrade a membership or, if you have a credit in your account, you can easily convert that balance into the membership of your choice.

If you already have a membership, it will be marked with "Your Current Membership Level". Click the One Year or 60 Days button of the membership you want to purchase. SpotWalla uses Stripe to process all online credit card transactions. Your credit card information will never be stored in SpotWalla. We don't need it and we don't want it.

Once you complete the order, your membership will be updated immediately.

We encourage you to purchase your membership online. It's fast, easy and secure. However, if you prefer using Paypal or want to send a check, please contact SpotWalla Support for information and guidance.

Refunds

Membership fees are not refundable. However, SpotWalla will consider a refund when/if requested. This is a manual, time-consuming process so a $5 refund fee will be applied. Any remaining funds will be returned to the original form of payment or a check will be mailed.
